LSA OPPORTUNITY HUB

Role: Chief Marketing Officer

The LSA Opportunity Hub is a revolutionary project undertaken by then Dean Andrew D. Martin—a career center constructed both programmatically and physically around the promise of the power of the liberal arts. Unlike most professional schools on campus, LSA did not have their own career coaching and networking hub, and internships were managed in a decentralized manner.

My team produced marketing plans and communications plans for every stage in the Hub's build. We wrote and workshopped names for the new initiative, and then held focus groups with students, faculty, and donors to test those names. We helped development launch a major fundraising initiative for the Hub within the Victors campaign, and we raised awareness (through stories, events, a website, and videos) within the student and alumni audiences as the Hub built out staff, capabilities, and a new architectural structure.
